On January 14, 2026, the combined bookings for these two models soared to an impressive 93,689 units within just four hours of opening, as reported by 2:00 PM on the same day. This robust demand represents a substantial booking value surpassing ₹20,500 crore, calculated based on ex-showroom prices. The XUV 7XO, a refreshed version of the popular XUV700, was officially launched on January 5, 2026, and bookings commenced on January 14, 2026. It retains the strong powertrain options of its predecessor but introduces updated design elements, a triple-screen cabin, advanced Level 2 ADAS, and other technological enhancements. Meanwhile, the XEV 9S is an all-electric 7-seater SUV, built on Mahindra's advanced INGLO platform, and shares the XUV 7XO's bodyshell.
