The film, which also features veteran actor Dharmendra in his final on-screen appearance, collected an estimated ₹1.20 crore on its second Saturday (Day 10). This marked a notable increase after a dip on its ninth day (second Friday), when collections fell to ₹85 lakhs. 'Ikkis' premiered on January 1, 2026, having been postponed from an earlier December 2025 release date to avoid clashes with other major films. It faced significant competition from Ranveer Singh's highly successful 'Dhurandhar', which was released on December 5, 2025. Another major release, Prabhas's 'The Raja Saab', also contributed to the competitive market during 'Ikkis''s run. The movie centers on the life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, India's youngest recipient of the Param Vir Chakra, set against the backdrop of the 1971 India-Pakistan War's Battle of Basantar. While the film garnered generally favorable reviews from critics, its box office performance has been moderate amidst the intense competition, as it aims to cross the ₹30 crore mark. Agastya Nanda, grandson of Amitabh Bachchan, previously made his acting debut in the Netflix film 'The Archies' in 2023.
