Fender Audio, a new consumer electronics brand under license from Fender Musical Instruments Corporation, officially debuted its inaugural line of personal audio products at CES 2026 in Las Vegas. The launch includes the innovative MIX headphones and the ELIE portable Bluetooth speaker series, comprising the E6 and E12 models. The MIX headphones are designed with modularity in mind, allowing users to easily swap components like ear cups, ear pads, and even the battery, enhancing longevity and customization. They feature 40mm Graphene drivers, hybrid active noise cancellation (ANC), and dual microphones with environmental noise cancellation. A standout feature is the included USB-C dongle that enables lossless (LHDC-V), low-latency (LC3), and Auracast transmission modes, promising high-fidelity wireless audio. The headphones also boast impressive battery life, offering up to 100 hours without ANC and 52 hours with it enabled. Complementing the headphones, the ELIE (Extremely Loud Infinitely Expressive) portable Bluetooth speakers, available in E6 (60W) and E12 (120W) models, aim to redefine portable sound. They integrate built-in subwoofers and a 'world-first Waves SOC implementation' to deliver powerful, distortion-free sound. What truly sets them apart is their versatile connectivity, supporting up to four audio channels simultaneously, including Bluetooth, wired XLR or 1/4" inputs for instruments or microphones, and two additional wireless channels. This makes them highly appealing to musicians and creators. The ELIE speakers can also be linked in stereo mode or connect up to 100 units in multi-mode for broader sound dispersion. Their aesthetic combines a minimalist Nordic design with subtle nods to Fender's guitar heritage, such as a fretboard wood handle. The articles corroborate that these products were indeed showcased for hands-on demonstrations at CES 2026, which ran from January 6-9, 2026. The initial pricing is set at $299 for the MIX headphones and ELIE E6 speaker, and $399 for the ELIE E12.
