CBI Busts ₹1.5 Cr Bribery Racket in Jhansi CGST Office, 5 Arrested

The CBI has arrested a CGST Deputy Commissioner and four others in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, for an alleged ₹1.5 crore bribery racket. Two superintendents were caught accepting ₹70 lakh as part of the bribe to favour firms in GST evasion cases. Searches led to the seizure of ₹1.60 crore in cash and other valuables.
