Niharika Konidela, under her banner Pink Elephant Pictures in collaboration with Z Studios, has officially announced the title of her next production, previously referred to as #PEP2, as 'Raakaasaa'. This fantasy-comedy film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on April 3, 2026. The title reveal was accompanied by an eerie and myth-laden poster featuring a solar eclipse, hinting at the film's atmospheric thriller elements despite being a fantasy-comedy. The movie stars Sangeeth Shobhan and Nayan Sarika in lead roles. The ensemble cast also includes prominent actors like Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji, Tanikella Bharani, Ashish Vidyardhi, Getup Srinu, Sukwinder Singh, and Annapurnamma, among others. 'Raakaasaa' is written and directed by Manasa Sharma, marking her directorial debut for a feature film. The technical crew comprises Anudeep Dev for music, Raju Edurolu as cinematographer, and Anwar Ali as editor. Vijay is the action choreographer, known for his work in 'They Call Him OG'. Production design is handled by Ramanjaneyulu, with Pulla Vishnu Vardhan as the art director. The production has largely completed its shooting schedules, including a major action phase, with only a song and a few talkie portions remaining.
