Launched on January 14, 2026, in collaboration with Public Sector Banks, this initiative aims to provide a unified and comprehensive financial solution that integrates banking, insurance, and digital services into a single salary account framework. The package offers a range of enhanced benefits for all Central Government employees, including those in Group A, B, and C cadres. Key banking features include zero-balance salary accounts, free remittances via RTGS, NEFT, and UPI, and cheque facilities. Employees will also benefit from concessional interest rates and reduced processing charges on various loans such as housing, education, vehicle, and personal loans, along with waivers on locker rentals and family banking benefits. A significant highlight of the Composite Salary Account Package is its robust insurance coverage. It provides personal accident insurance up to ₹1.5 crore, air accident insurance up to ₹2 crore, and permanent total or partial disability cover up to ₹1.5 crore. Additionally, some offerings include an in-built term life insurance of up to ₹20 lakh and comprehensive health insurance for employees and their families, with options for top-ups. Digital and card-based services are also enhanced, offering improved benefits on debit and credit cards, including airport lounge access, reward programs, and cashback offers, with unlimited transactions and nil maintenance charges.
