The thrilling encounter, which was Match 6 of the season, saw MI successfully chase down a formidable target of 193 runs set by the Giants at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on January 13, 2026. This successful chase of 193 runs stands as the second-highest in the history of the WPL. The highest remains 202 runs, achieved by Royal Challengers Bengaluru against Gujarat Giants in the WPL 2025 season. For the Mumbai Indians, this was also their highest-ever successful run chase in the league.
