A horrific road rage incident in Gurugram saw a Swiggy delivery executive, Tinku Pawar, critically injured after being deliberately run over by a Scorpio SUV. The shocking event, which occurred on January 19, 2026, was widely captured on CCTV cameras and mobile phones, showing the car hitting the rider's motorcycle, leaving the scene, and then returning to intentionally run him over. The incident began when the black Scorpio SUV, allegedly driven by Dr. Naveen Yadav, first struck Tinku's parked motorcycle at a roadside pickup point in Sector 93, Gurugram. After the initial impact, the car sped away, but moments later, it returned. Angered by the reckless driving, Tinku confronted the driver. This confrontation reportedly enraged Dr. Yadav, who then turned his vehicle around, accelerated, and deliberately drove over Tinku, who was standing near the eatery. Multiple reports indicate the driver ran over the victim 'repeatedly' or 'multiple times'. The victim sustained critical injuries to his head, chest, and legs, and was initially rushed to Civil Hospital in Gurugram before being shifted to a hospital in Rewari for advanced treatment due to the severity of his condition. Gurugram police swiftly launched an investigation, utilizing CCTV footage and vehicle registration details to trace and seize the Scorpio SUV. Dr. Naveen Yadav, identified as the driver and a Gurugram-based doctor, was subsequently arrested.
