India's Defence Exports Soar to Record $4.1 Billion in FY26

India has achieved a landmark milestone in its defense sector, with exports surging to an unprecedented ₹38,424 crore (approximately $4.1 billion) in the financial year 2025-26. This represents a substantial increase of 62.66% over the ₹23,622 crore recorded in the preceding fiscal year, 2024-25, according to official data released by the Ministry of Defence.
