Xiaomi's performance-focused sub-brand Redmi has officially confirmed key specifications and the design of its highly anticipated Redmi Turbo 5 Max smartphone. Scheduled for a launch in China this January, the device will notably feature a substantial 9,000mAh battery, positioning it as a contender for excellent endurance in its segment. Accompanying this large battery, the phone is also expected to support 100W fast charging, ensuring quick power replenishment.
The official design renders, shared by Redmi, highlight a premium aesthetic. The phone will boast a CNC-machined metal frame and a smooth fiberglass rear panel, available in an "Ocean Breeze Blue" colorway. The back panel features a distinct pill-shaped dual rear camera module, indicative of a modern and refined look.
Under the hood, the Redmi Turbo 5 Max is set to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s SoC, a sub-flagship chipset engineered to deliver robust performance comparable to flagship-level processors.
