Siddhant Chaturvedi clarified his stance on Instagram, stating definitively, 'Just to clarify guys, this isn't true.' He further added, 'No remakes for me anymore, even though I'm a fan of the original film and the actors, much love and respect. Thank you.' This statement comes after his previous film, 'Dhadak 2', was also a remake of the Tamil film 'Pariyerum Perumal'. Meanwhile, Pratibha Ranta also took to her Instagram stories to issue a statement. She neither confirmed nor denied her involvement but urged media outlets to refrain from spreading unverified information and to wait for official announcements regarding her projects. Reports had suggested that Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, which holds the remake rights for 'Dear Comrade', was considering the duo for the lead roles in the Hindi adaptation. Despite distancing himself from the remake, Siddhant Chaturvedi expressed admiration for Pratibha Ranta's talent and conveyed his interest in collaborating with her on an original project in the future.
