The upcoming Vivo X300 Ultra is confirmed for a global launch, a first for Vivo's 'Ultra' series, which previously remained exclusive to the Chinese market. The device, identified by model number V2562, has appeared on both the European Economic Community (EEC) database, with a filing on December 26, 2025, and Indonesia's TKDN certification platform. These certifications strongly indicate that Vivo is preparing to release its flagship smartphone to international audiences. While a China launch is anticipated in Q1 2026, potentially in March, the global certifications suggest a wider rollout will follow.
Expected specifications for the Vivo X300 Ultra are impressive. It is rumored to be powered by Qualcomm's latest flagship processor, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The device is tipped to feature a 6.8 or 6.82-inch BOE flat LTPO 2K display with a 120Hz refresh rate and high-frequency PWM dimming. Camera-wise, the X300 Ultra is expected to boast a triple rear camera system, including two 200-megapixel sensors (a main sensor, possibly a Sony LYT-901, and a periscope telephoto sensor, possibly a Samsung HPB) and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter. Furthermore, reports suggest a revolutionary multi-focal-length continuous optical zoom (35mm-85mm) and a 5MP multispectral sensor for enhanced color accuracy, skin tones, and white balance. A substantial 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery is also expected, alongside a third-generation 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. The phone may, however, omit the dedicated camera button found on its predecessor, the X200 Ultra.
