Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has arrived in Davos, Switzerland, to participate in the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2026, leading a high-level state delegation. He departed from Hyderabad on Monday, January 19, after offering prayers at the Medaram Jathara, and reached Zurich en route to Davos on Tuesday, January 20. This visit marks his third consecutive attendance at the global summit since assuming office in December 2023, with previous participations in January 2024 and 2025. The Chief Minister's primary objective is to promote Telangana as a prime global investment destination, showcasing its progressive policies, investor-friendly ecosystem, and the 'Telangana Rising 2047' vision document. During the four-day conference, Revanth Reddy is scheduled to hold extensive meetings with chief executive officers of global corporations, leading investors, and representatives from diverse sectors. Key companies slated for interactions at the Telangana Pavilion include Google, Salesforce, Unilever, Honeywell, L'Oréal, Novartis, the Tata Group, DP World, Infosys, and Cisco. The delegation will highlight investment opportunities across various sectors, including information technology, artificial intelligence, life sciences, manufacturing, and green energy. Revanth Reddy is also expected to unveil the Telangana Life Sciences Policy 2026-2030 and the Telangana AI Hub at the event. The state government aims to build on previous successes, which saw significant investment commitments in prior WEF visits.
