Punjabi singer Dilnoor has filed a police complaint in Mohali, Punjab, after allegedly receiving a serious extortion and death threat aimed at popular Bollywood and Punjabi singer B Praak. The caller demanded a sum of ₹10 crore, threatening dire consequences if the amount was not paid within a week. According to Dilnoor's complaint to the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mohali, the incident unfolded over two days. On January 5, he received two missed calls from an international number, which he did not answer. The following day, January 6, he received another call from a different overseas number. After answering briefly and finding the conversation suspicious, he disconnected the call. Immediately afterwards, Dilnoor received a voice message reiterating the ransom threat. The caller identified himself as Arju Bishnoi, claiming to be an associate or brother of the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang, and warned that the threat should not be taken lightly, stating he was operating from outside India. The message explicitly warned that B Praak would face serious harm if the ₹10 crore was not delivered within the stipulated time. Following the complaint lodged on January 6, Mohali police have initiated a comprehensive investigation to trace the origin of the calls, verify the caller's identity, and probe the alleged links to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. This incident is part of a series of recent extortion and firing incidents attributed to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which has targeted businessmen in Delhi.
