Wings India 2026, heralded as Asia's largest civil aviation event, is set to take place at Begumpet Airport in Hyderabad from January 28 to 31, 2026. The four-day global gathering will be formally inaugurated by Union Minister of Civil Aviation Rammohan Naidu. This premier biennial event is jointly organized by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India, the Airports Authority of India (AAI), and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).
The event's overarching theme is "Indian Aviation: Paving the Future – From Design to Deployment, Manufacturing to Maintenance, Inclusivity to Innovation and Safety to Sustainability." It aims to showcase India's rapidly expanding aviation landscape, its growing global footprint, and its ambition to become a major hub for manufacturing, services, innovation, and sustainable aviation solutions.
Wings India 2026 will feature an expansive international exhibition, impressive static aircraft displays, and exhilarating flying and aerobatic shows, including aerial performances by the Indian Air Force's Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team. The agenda includes a high-level international conference with 13 thematic sessions, a Global CEOs Forum, and a Ministerial Plenary, fostering discussions on critical areas such as sustainable aviation fuel, advanced air mobility, aircraft leasing, and MRO. The event is expected to draw ministerial-level foreign delegations and senior government officials, alongside official delegations from more than 20 countries, reinforcing international cooperation and collaboration in the aviation sector. Additionally, an aviation job fair and a Civil Aviation Innovation Challenge for students will be part of the programme, promoting talent and industry-oriented problem-solving.
